Farmhouse Mural - 9 Panel Sheep Mural: 19" x 19" x 1/2" thick total size including green check liner.


This is a very special hand painted mural signed by the artist.


It was one of the first murals from the Pennsylvania Farm Tile Line that was in all 53 of Waterworks showrooms for 10 years.


It was supposed to be painted in a Grandma Moses style of painting, however it was determined by popular demand to be lighter in color and Applepickers in the foreground as the showroom installation over an Elf sink shows.


It was painted by Jamie and comes out of her private collection.


It is on 6" x 6" x 1/2" thick hand molded tile wrapped with a check liner and corners cut for an easy DIY installation. It is shown on top of a white field tile base that does NOT come with the mural or order.


It does however come with (3) 6" x 6" deco tiles, a hay barn, a sheep and a bacon barn also wrapped with a check liner and corners cut for easy installation.


Signed by the artist in 1997 when it was painted. Majolica underglaze makes the tile painting last for " forever".

Technique: underglaze chalk and majolica painted on handmade white bisque tiles(k), with a clear gloss glaze over - fired to cone 06


For this particular piece of artwork you may want to consider mounting it to a 3/4" piece of hardwood or quality plywood and frame it as you would canvas and hang it as you would any painting, and not installing it. This way you will be able to use it as a backsplash mural, yet take it with you when you sell your home.


All the mural tiles are number coded for easy installation and stamped and signed by the artist.
