The artist created what appears to be millions of leaves, as representation of the millions of people from around the world whom love Oprah, and have had their lives enriched by.


The Lithograph Print is of a drawing of the tree prior to being redesigned to fit the shape of the arch in the stone slab more symmetrically. In the beginning stages of this project, in the spring of 2003, Oprah's Estate was titled as Tara II because the property reminded her of the property in the movie "Gone with the Wind". Jamie’s early work was called the Tara II Project.


The limited edition signed prints and letterpress cards and prints of “Promise Land Tree” are nearly an exact replica of Oprah’s tree and were made from Jamie’s first etch drawing, and none of the detailed "millions of leaves" were lost in the reduction in size of the artwork from the massive stone carved tile.


Created in 2012 in Lithograph Prints only 100 were made or will ever be made in this particular technique and color.
